What is No Code?

The no-code movement is empowering all people to be able to create and use the benefits of programming without the need to learn how to write code. Nowadays building a website, apps, custom integrations, and automation is reachable to everyone.

This movement facilitates the creation of websites or apps and their maintenance over time by people with non-technical profiles. It allows to create anything on the Internet.

What used to require a team of programmers who knew programming languages and several months of development, can now be executed through no-code development platforms by those who do not have this technical background.

Nowadays we mainly use no-code tools like Zapier or Integromat to automate tasks and connect products, Airtable to create databases or Webflow to create amazing websites and products without code, but every day new tools emerge that make it easier and faster to create digital solutions.

If you want to learn more about this new paradigm, you can learn from our free course of Introduction to No Code, by Nocodehackers (in Spanish).

Why is No Code changing the world?

The evolution of tools towards an "API First" model, in which the priority is to offer the service or functionality in a way that can be consumed by other applications, has made it more viable than ever to create digital products based on combining services through its API.

In addition, the appearance of tools that add a layer of visual automation to this process, such as Make (Formerly Integromat), Zapier or IFTTT, has made this available connection to a greater number of people who do not have technical knowledge.

Added to this huge movement, platforms like Shopify, Webflow or Bubble, are growing and offering a robust solution to fit the needs of many types of businesses, at a faster speed than traditionally.

No-code is not simply about what can be done, but also empowering non-technical profiles to create, and allowing you to free up your technical team and develop solutions to business problems in less time.
